Fulfillment Update #4: Moonlight

Hello Everyone!

This is another quick update regarding the fulfillment of Spirits of the Forest

Australia

This region has been completely fulfilled for a while now, as a reminder, if you haven't received your package please contact us through [email protected] so we can check if your package was returned.

Asia

All non-collector edition packages that were pending to be sent in certain areas have been sent

those in the following countries should already have a tracking number from Either S.F Express or EMS, if you don't see any in your email, try login in your Backerkit account or email us at [email protected] to pull it for you.

China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan

Those in the following countries, we've sent their packages to a Hub in the destinations countries with the help of VFI Asia for a local Tax-Free final delivery and should receive a notification from them.

Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Thailand

This is also a remind that Collector's Edition in Asia have been fulfilled during last month and the majority uses email hosts that are really bad handling automated emails, so if you haven't received any notification please contact us through [email protected] so we can hand you the tracking information in case it hasn't arrived yet.

North America

A very thorough Inspection of the pallets with the collector's edition received has been completed earlier this week as the packaging process done by the Origin Hub in Germany was terrible to say the least and we wanted to guarantee that every game box arrived in perfect condition and avoiding sending any damaged one.

 I was notified Wednesday that fulfillment was to start on Thursday on the US but I decided to wait to post this update just to be sure, that estimate was an error on their end and fulfillment is to start next week.

The Pallet going for Canada was completed yesterday, and the booking will be done on Monday as it is currently being arranged with the importer of record in the region.

The import and export process is a very delicate thing that we need to look out for in both ends to avoid issues in customs as they have the power to completely seize the pallets, otherwise we would have it in transit by today.

Fulfillment Update #3: Horizons

Hello Everyone!

This is another quick update regarding the fulfillment of Spirits of the Forest.

Australia and New Zealand

The flight arrived delayed on Monday and the cargo was picked up immediately after clearing customs on Tuesday morning, considering that the warehouse is 200m from Adelaide’s Airport it was no surprising. Thanks to this, the region is fulfilled entirely as of November 1st, 19:00H Australia Time, if you didn’t have a tracking number before, you should have it now.

It is recommended that you check your spam folder or login into your Backerkit account as the tracking number can be seen in there, if you can’t find your tracking information contact us at [email protected] so we can fetch it for you.

Asia

Packaging for the remaining copies to be fulfilled in the region is complete and we are just waiting for the tracking information, packages might already be in transit, SF Express is covering almost all these pending shipments, so if you receive a notification from them, it would be safe to assume it is Spirits of the Forest.

However, if you ordered a Collector’s Edition, you should already have a tracking number with DHL Deutsche Post, should you not find it in your email, contact us at [email protected] so we can fetch it

Europe and South America

We were informed that pending shipments were sent on Tuesday, if you have any issue with your parcel, please contact us at [email protected] so we can contact HappyShops and hopefully fix the issue in a reasonable time.

North America

The pallets were scheduled to be delivered today at the Warehouse in Orlando, fulfillment in the US will begin shortly after reception as well as the transit of copies of the game to Canada for fulfillment in the region.

Flight Information Update

Hello Everyone.

This is a small update as explained in the past one, with the flight information of the Collector's Edition,I plan to post a more detailed update next week.

North America

 
The Airline in charge of this shipment is TAP Portugal.

Australia

 
The Airline in charge of this Shipment is Singapore Airlines.

Europe and other shipments

Fulfillment is still ongoing in Europe, we are sorry for the time it is taking to fulfill this and we know it is not normal, even when Essen was so close when fulfillment started which causes delays in the bigger fulfillment centers in Europe.

We are already looking into alternatives for Tang Garden with the help of our trusted Freight Agents in Barcelona–El Prat Airport as this has been the bottleneck not only for Europe, but for other regions as well.

If you have any issue please send us an email to [email protected], we currently have a lot of emails to process and most of the team is at Essen, so our reply time might take a while, but it is the only way to contact us directly as we do not read Kickstarter messages.

Fulfillment Update #2: Day After

Hi Everyone!

We hope you are having a nice week, it is time for a new and updated report regarding the fulfillment of Spirits of the Forest.

First of all I would like to make an important notice, we are experiencing a high volume of emails in our main support channel [email protected] so our reply time might be affected past our usual 72 hours first reply on weekdays.

Because of this we would like to remind everyone to please do not send multiple emails for the same issue, and sending multiple messages actually push back the email further in the queue making the reply time longer than it should be.

Europe

European Fulfillment is still ongoing, from our European warehouses 283 packages are still pending for shipment and are to be completely fulfilled by next week.

Of those 283, there are several going for Asia and South America as well.

Replacement parts are being calculated and will be distributed to our ambassadors so that they can be fulfilled as well, if you are missing anything from your game or something arrived damaged, the only way to contact us to ask for one is either following the instructions at the end of the rulebook or sending us an email to [email protected]

North America

For the Collector Edition backers, while it took longer than we wanted, specially when we requested the pallets to be done as soon as possible, they were finished just very recently in Germany, and transit has just begun.

The games will be transported by either Tap Portugal or American Airlines from Barcelona, ES to Orlando, FL, whichever has a slot earlier due to the urgency of these shipments, please keep an eye on the main comments section if you want to know it before anyone else as we will be posting the schedule there as soon as we get it, it will be included in a future update as well.

Retail and Deluxe editions have been completely fulfilled in the US if you completed your survey before our initial cutoff, otherwise your game will go out in a 2nd batch alongside the backers of the Collector Edition.

As for Canada, we originally expected the Collector Edition much earlier, and following the recommendation of our partners in the region we decided to wait for them so they could be a single import, this has caused that all versions of the games to be delayed.

Literally as soon as the collector edition pallets reach Orlando, before the US shipment begins, we’ve asked QML to send the pallets to Canada immediately before anything else.

Australia/New Zealand

As with the US, Retail and Deluxe editions have been completely fulfilled if you completed your survey before our initial cutoff, otherwise your game will go out in a 2nd batch alongside the backers of the Collector Edition, this also includes those who ordered a copy of Tao Long as the game has never been imported (at least by us) in the region and is en-route alongside the Collector Edition copies.

We do have a few returns so in case you are sure your package met the requirements above and you didn’t receive it, please email us to [email protected] with the email you used on Kickstarter.

Collector Editions will be in transit soon from Barcelona, ES to Adelaide by either Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines or Emirates Sky Cargo, whichever has a slot earlier due to the urgency of these shipments, we will keep you posted.

Asia

Collector Editions are to be fulfilled from Europe, if you haven’t received your tracking number yet, check the Europe section of this update, as for the rest I expect to have tracking information soon and I will send it as soon as I have it.

Everyone in this region is fulfilled from Europe, please check the Europe section of this update, if you aren’t sure if your game has shipped since in this region the predominant email hosters labels almost all our emails as SPAM, please email us to [email protected] so we can check.

Fulfillment Update #1: Forest's Memories

Dear backers,

We hope you are all doing great!

Wrapping up a campaign is always an amazing feeling. We want to thank you for all your support and patience towards the project. We are also in the last stages of fulfillment for a few regions which José will explain further in this update.

Your messages and comments about how much you like the game really warm our hearts. To all of you that have an account on BGG, we would love to know what do you think about the game by rating it in our BGG page.

Spirits of the Forest will also debut at Spiel Essen 2018! If you are visiting, be sure to stop by our booth at H2-F116 to say hi and play a game with us! If you bring your copy, Natalie Dombois (our illustrator) will be able to do a little drawing for you!

Expansion's Rulebook

As you might already know, the rulebook for the expansions is only available in English, we are in the process of translating them in Spanish, German and French and deliver those digitally to all backers.

Michael is also adding the finishing touches to the exclusive Golden Fireflies expansion, for which we will post an update when it is finished so everyone can download the rules.

Collector’s Edition Signatures

As explained in our past update, we sent all the Collector’s Edition copies to Germany so that they could be signed and the process went just as we scheduled.

The truck arrived in HappyShops in Merseburg, Germany on September 14th and they prepared everything for Gonzalo, Michael and Natalie’s arrival on Monday, September 17th, which is when they began signing the Collector copies.

Michael and Natalie signed a total 2000 copies in just 2 days, and Gonzalo documented this process as some of you might’ve seen in our Facebook page, here is glimpse of it:

Fulfillment

Once again, if you have any issues with your parcel, are missing something or just need a replacement please email us at [email protected]

The fulfillment for this project is currently in progress, so for everyone to have updated information regarding this, here are some details about it:

Europe: Currently ongoing, at least 1600 parcels have been already sent from Spain, and around 1400 of those have already been delivered as of Today.

If you haven’t received a tracking number, please check your SPAM folder, if there is still nothing to be found, don’t worry as your parcel is already in transit and DPD Group will contact you once the parcel enters the destination country, we will try to get the tracking information before that and notify you ourselves as well.

1975 games are to be delivered from Germany by HappyShops, including a lot of packages for countries that aren’t in Europe, 270 of those packages have been sent out as of today.

If in the latest update your country or parcel was said to be delivered by HappyShops, by this point you should’ve already received an email from them with the items you will receive and the address it will be sent to in case there was any kind of error so you could correct it on time, please, check your SPAM folder if you haven’t already for this email as this is the last possible time you can correct your address.

Australia: Australia and New Zealand are completely fulfilled as of 1 week ago by VR Distribution except for those who needed Collector's Edition copies as they just were signed in Germany very recently.

HappyShops in Germany is currently building a few pallets with those copies so that they can be send by Air to Adelaide for the final fulfillment.

North America: The vessel arrived 1 day later than scheduled and the container arrived at QML’s Fulfillment Warehouse in Florida yesterday, contents are being checked and fulfillment will start probably by the end of next week in the US, a truck departing to Canada will also be on its way around the same time so Snake & Lattes can fulfill that region.

As it was the case for Australia, HappyShops will send around 900 copies of the Collector’s Edition in pallets by Air to Florida for the final fulfillment of those copies.

Asia: VFI is currently checking and organizing the pallets they received and will be fulfilled soon.
