Backerkit close date update and our next project

Hello Everyone,
We hope you’ve had a great week, we just wanted to post a really quick update addressing a few things.
As you know in our previous update we mentioned that Backerkit was to be closed on May 2nd, due to several emails we’ve received we have decided to extend this until May 8th.
Remember that if you have any issues with your Backerkit survey or need help with anything else, please contact us through [email protected] and we will help you with any issues you might had, even if you think it is impossible!
We are also including a new promo on Backerkit that was previously available on the Man vs Meeple Kickstarter campaign, the “Solar Terms Cards”, this will add 3 more wishes cards to the game and they are available with a symbolical price of 2€ which will contribute to plant a tree for each purchase
We wanted to take the chance to show you some illustrations from the coloring book that is included in the collector’s edition and also available as an add-on on Backerkit.
Our next project: Tang Garden
Tang Garden is a Zen-like game that will take you to the first golden age of China, where players will progressively build a garden by creating the landscape, placing the scenery and projecting their vision through vertical panoramas. During the construction, noblemen will visit the garden to admire the surroundings and the way the natural elements coexist in the most breathtaking scenery humankind has ever laid their eyes upon.

Production Update #1: Leaves

Hello everyone, hope you are having a great week!
As some of you may already know, since the early days of the campaign our aim was to have the pre-production copies ready during the KS campaign to speed the production a little bit and deliver this game as soon as possible. This means that we still don't have anything physical to show yet that we haven't already. Nevertheless, production is running really smoothly thanks to the experience of Ninox, the new manufacturer that we have been working exclusively with since Dead Man's Doubloons.
In past updates you might have seen the components and the boxes, but there were some minor changes that we wanted to share with you today.
Illustrated box and insert
As you know we decided to go with a plastic insert for the game, but we also unlocked an illustrated insert just as Tao Long had. We finally decided to go for a beautiful leaves pattern created by Natalie to be more consistent with the game's art. We will use a transparent plastic insert to go on top of them to make the whole unboxing experience more pleasant. Here are the results:
Extra boxes for KS exclusives and stretch goals
Having learnt from our past experience and to make sure our worldwide fulfillment will be as flawless as possible, we have decided to create boxes for all the unlocked stretch goals and exclusives. While the Deluxe box can hold everything inside, for the Retail and Collector's edition we created two different boxes. You won't find loose items in the shipping box unless you bought any add-on.
All our add-ons will be barcoded and shrink wrapped to be sure the packing will be as easier as possible for our fulfillment centers and reduce significantly the amount of packages with missing or wrong items.
Backerkit deadline
In two weeks (on May 2nd) we will close Backerkit and we will process all credit cards used to add any additional content. Any upgrade or add-on must be added before that date. We won't be able to charge credit cards once we lock-in your pledges.
If you need help with your order before or after the payment processing takes place because you don't know how or where to do so, please contact us through [email protected] where we will be able to help you.
Further modifications like address changes can be made to your order even after this as well and if there is anything you can't do yourself, please email us.

Pre-Production Update #2 - Production timeline and photos!

Hello everyone!
Hope you are all doing great.
As you all know everything stops in February because of Chinese New Year. We managed to send very important files
before the holidays and since the second week of March we have been working closely with our manufacturer to make
sure everything will run smoothly.
Logistics and SKUs
We understood how complicated is having multiples items during Tao Long and even if we managed to solve many issues, DMD
suffered a bit from this problem too.
What we are doing this time is to minimize the item quantity you will get shipped to avoid any logistic or fulfillment
mistake.
- Retail and Collector's Edition backers will receive two boxes (game + additional content) - Deluxe Edition backers will
receive one single box.
You will find everything inside, even the KS exclusive metal coin, the scorepad and all the unlocked stretch
goals.
Pre-production photos
In this update the spotlight is for the Score Pads and the metal fireflies! Hope you like them.
Insert and usability
We thrive to improve how we make our games based on your feedback. We are making modifications to the plastic insert
to accommodate many of your suggestions and criticisms gathered from our past games.
We are also working with the manufacturer to use transparent plastic to be able to show a beautiful pattern under the
insert illustrated by Natalie.
Stretch Goals Rules
We are under proofing while the other part of the team works on the renders. We finally decided to gather all the rules in
a single booklet where you will have all the expansions rules.
We will share more information in the next update!
Timeline
We will deliver the final assets during this week. We had a meeting with our manufacturer and the schedule looks like
this:
- 14-21 days to finish the pre-production of the final components based on our changes of the first pre-production
samples. - 40-45 days for mass-production
We have an amazing relationship with Ninox and so far everything has been running very smoothly from both sides. We
will have more information and pictures in our next update!

Select any add-on you purchased during the campaign or that you want to purchase on Backerkit, just like in any other online store.
Buy limited quantities of our other titles either retail or deluxe.

Hope you are all doing great.
Chinese New Year is here, and we are quite pleased that we can start mass production in March when our manufacturer comes back from the holidays.
We will share more photos of the pre-production in our next update.
As promised, this is your reminder for Backerkit! Our official launch is Monday at 16:00 GMT/UTC +0
This is how it will work:
You will receive an email (please keep an eye on your spam folder) which will take you to complete a survey, here you can enter your shipping address, select any add-ons you want, upgrade your pledge to another tier level if you want to and all that like if you were in any other online store, it is pretty straightforward.
We will also be offering a limited amount of copies of the deluxe editions of our other projects, so keep an eye on that if you wanted one.
We also want to do something special, and for every 10€ raised on Backerkit we will plant a Tree with Trees for the Future, more information on this initiative here.
